Cabos sueltos
Ok, este blog se acaba porque ya no estoy viajando y vuelvo a modo Barro quejumbroso desempleado que no sabe que hacer con su vida y que ahora tiene más deudas que al principio, pero mejores recuerdos también.Claro que antes de terminar, debo cerrar unos cuantos cabos sueltos.
Como por ejemplo, alguien me preguntó en un comment que cuanto dinero me había salido el viajecito a Europa.
La respuesta: alrededor de 3, 5 millones de pesos, yep. Se puede hacer por menos, pero recordad que yo fui a todos los castillitos y museos. Se puede hacer por harto más también.
Y un muy agradecido a Expedia.co.uk, que gracias a ellos conseguí un pasaje ida y vuelta en British Airways a Londres por $530.000, que no está mal.
Luego, Introspectiva, tú me preguntaste por la escena gay en Europa...
Y creía que me había extendido bastante en ese tópico, pero si no te pareció... resulta que si eres gay en Europa lo vas a pasar muy bien, en cada gran ciudad puedes ir a un bar (o mejor, al sauna, el verdadero núcelo social gay de las metrópolis europeas) y pedir que te den la revista gratis gay del país con todos los datos, casi siempre en inglés. Y no dejaré de alabar el privilegio que es después de destrozarse los pies caminando ir al sauna gay de la ciudad y pasarse un rato en el jacuzzi y luego hacer amigos, que las barreras idiomaticas se diluyen con el vapor y ahí si que uno se da cuenta lo gentiles y cariñosos que pueden ser los checos y los magiares.
No, en serio. Estos sitios tienen fama de turbios, pero los hombres vestidos son harto más de temer que los hombres desnudos. O bueno, en fin, igual no es fácil de explicar.
Y lo mismo corre para las lesbianas. Hay una red y hay que pillarla y hay que ir a las gay parades que son muy divertidas y Viena estaba llena de chicas muy guapas que andaban con sus novias desfilando.
Luego, no llevé música conmigo, pero me traje de allá muchas canciones, la lista de esos temas que me acompañaron y que marcaron mi viaje y que me van a hacer llorar cuando los escuche en 50 años más es esta:

Centros culturales, de atención, comunidades, de todo eso hay.
Obvio, que si uno va de turista tiende a ir más a las discos que a los clubes de rayuela. Pero las direcciones me las sabía.
De esa revista en particular no supe nada, pero Madrid y Barcelona me dieron la impresión de ser ciudades muy, pero muy abiertas y tolerantes. Hay mucha publicidad a actividades gay, el barrio (Chueca, el Eixample) está ahí y todos saben que independiente de tu orientación sexual, es un lugar entretenido donde hay buenas tiendas, bares con onda y fiesta permanente.
Italia es un poco más reprimida, además que no fui a las dos ciudades donde se supone hay más organización, que son Milán y Bolonia.
Y en Europa del Este todavía barrios no hay, pero como no tienen la herencia católica, sino la socialista, no me parece que tengan un gran trauma con el tema. Ciertamente no en Budapest donde están tan llenos de saunas (el Kiraly tiene días solo para mujeres y días solo para hombres) que está nahí desde la época de la dominación turca y todos saben que no solo se juega ajedrez en esos sitios.
Viena me tocó en gay pride, y la vi llena de movimientos, muy politizada, con el alcalde hablando de los derechos gays y mucha pero muchas lesbianas pero que demasiado minas y onderas.
En Berlin, según me decía mi amigo Franck, las mujeres heterosexuales no tienen mucho que hacer. Aunque luego mi impresión no fue tan extrema.
Y Paris, Bruselas, Amsterdam, Londres. Nunca sentí una sola mirada de desaprobación hacia los gays, ni siquiera de parte de los musulmanes, no vi un solo grafitti homofóbico y sí vi parejas de la mano, discretas, pero las había.
No diría que sea un paraíso para los homosexuales, aunque tal vez lo sea,
así como tampoco diría que esto sea un purgatorio, cosa que tampoco creo.
Lo que sí, indignado por lo de la jueza Atala, Y si hay que ir a funar a los jueces de la corte, pues a funarlos.
Y no tiene nada que ver con asociaciones , pero lejos la experiencia más grata creo que fue discutir con Fussi, con un musulmán argelino straight que piensa que los gays son enfermos. Terminamos con él diciéndome que todo bien conmigo, que tenga cuidado si alguna vez voy a Argelia y despidiéndose de mi de beso en ambas mejillas.
